“Jess is magic - yes, you read that right. Over the past year and a half Jess has transformed our son's life from one of fear, doubt and caution to one of joy, freedom and fun and the most magical thing is, she did it without him even noticing it was happening.
But we know nothing about this transformation happened by accident - we know this because Jess is a great communicator who sets easy to understand long and short term goals and works patiently with us to help us to understand her work with our son. Each session is meticulously designed and structured and yet feels effortless and playful, and we love Jess' ability to adapt her planned session in the moment depending on our son's mood and energy when he walks into her studio. It means each session always feels special and tailored to his needs.
Jess was able to quickly form a strong bond with our son through her relaxed conversational style - he genuinely thinks they are friends. This trust has enabled amazing work to happen without fear or worry, fired his curiosity and sense of fun and has meant our son is excited when therapy day rolls around rather than reticent.
We are about to graduate from OT as our son has met all of his goals thanks to Jess' diligent hard work but we will be forever indebted to her for all she has done for our family. We take only happy memories of this therapy time with us and that is in no small part down to the enthusiasm, passion, fun and dedication she has brought to every session we have shared.

“From the moment they met at her evaluation, our daughter, Georgia, adored Jess. During her initial evaluation of our child, we got our first glimpse of Jess’s warmth, wisdom, and professionalism. She is a highly skilled occupational therapist, and was able to zero in on exactly what Georgia needed from her. Jess made Georgia feel comfortable, putting her at ease even though she entered the evaluation feeling quite nervous and vulnerable. Jess's experience and understanding of her work as an OT was apparent from the outset as well. She was able to diagnose Georgia’s difficulties and help us strategize ways in which to work with our child. Moreover, Jess made every session so much fun. Georgia continued with OT a little longer than was probably necessary simply because she loved spending time with Jess, who was such a tremendous source of comfort and support. Jess empowered Georgia to use the tools they worked on at OT outside of their sessions, which allowed Georgia to become a more focused student and thoughtful, confident person overall. I truly believe that Jess changed the trajectory of our daughter’s life. Today, Georgia is a happy, well-adjusted third grader who excels at school and in her various extracurricular activities.”
